Name
Dvi Moran
Concept
Nebbish Treasurer
Power
Stay Gold: By spending a Fate point, Dvi can convince any bystanders that something he is in contact with is worth what he declares it to be. This effect lasts for half an hour, or a few minutes after Dvi stops touching the thing.
Aspects
What Price Valor: Dvi is a bookkeeper by trade and by nature. He knows when he's being ripped off and he could sell leaves back to a tree, but his commerce-driven view of life has left him with trust issues a mile long. He has trouble seeing people as anything other than scammers or loan sharks, and it's unlikely that'll change any time soon given his guild.
Talker, Not A Fighter: Dvi likes to think of himself as a pacifist, just not necessarily a moral pacifist. He has a pretty face ans a silver tongue that've gotten him out of too many scrapee to count, but the fights he has been in tend to end with him in a bloody pulp.
Second Son of a Duelist's Daughter: When she was younger and more prone to bouts of violence, Dvi's grandmother was a duelist. She was good; so good she ended up starting grudges that've lasted for generations. Dvi inherited a few of her skills he'd rather not use, but he also inherited all the enemies she made. Which throws a little wrench in his plans to stay under the radar.

Personal History
Dvi Moran was born twenty-four years ago to Eka Moran, a low-ranking Dimir courier responsible for ensuring turncoats' information got to its destination safely. Like many Dimir guildsmen, his history is murky at best; what is certain is that he inherited his mother's street-smarts and his grandmother's recklessness. As soon as he was able, he used both to full effect and began climbing the Dimir hierarchy in a surprisingly non-violent but unsurprisingly foolish way.
Specifically, he joined a guild operation to undermine the Orzhov stranglehold over the economy simply by being better liars than they were. Through a mixture of well-placed misdirection, family ties and good old-fashioned magic embezzlement, he managed to fraud his way into becoming an assistant treasurer at an Orzhov tradehall, claiming he wanted to leave his family's past behind him and turn over a respectable new leaf.
Currently, he's juggling double lives as Dvi Moran the brown-nosing yes man accountant, and Dvi Moran the promising young Dimir infiltrator. Time will tell if he'll keep up the act, or drop the ball and lose his life for it.
